Bill Withers. What a treat. As you say “a major teacher”.
Are you aware that three years ago today themusicologist kissed the ether for the first time… ah, the innocence of those times (or, generally speaking, was it ignorance/naivety?).
So, in appreciation/acknowledgement of this third anniversary of a wonderful read (and of course, excellent music) here’s my little contribution to hopefully inspire “the butterfly mind” to keep on doing it…
Epistemologically speaking, information is made up of a collection of data and knowledge is made up of different strands of information. Of late, information and data have become increasingly difficult to tell apart. Consequently, the debate on information and/or knowledge has been debased in my opinion…. Information is widely available; what seems to be scarce in this wired-up world of ours is the ability to extract wisdom from all that information… happy third anniversary!
