(Louis Armstrong – The Night Before Christmas)

Last of the Christmas Cuts and who better than the King to see us through…

“Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring not even a mouse, (other than themusicologist of course)…..
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there,

the children were nestled all snug in their beds,

  1. another one by the maestro!…thank you for all the fantastic crimbo music and I’m off to share the ‘big bird’ with loved ones ….’it was always said of him that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!’….Scrooge by Dickens at the very end of A Christmas Carol. MERRY CHRISTMAS one and all.
