**********JUNE 2008 UPDATE****
on the widget access the dropdown menu, (right of title), and change from ‘icon view’ to ‘list view’. for some reason the default ‘icon view’ doesnt allow the full listings !!
At the moment the boxnet portal is the one utilised for streaming the language. It’s not ideal because it stops the music when you navigate away from the page. Therefore, to be able to listen to the whole story while navigating themusicologist
Right click on the page, (eg:words/manifesto/musicology), select open link in new window or in new tab, (firefox), and the required page will load either in a new window or, (if using firefox), a new tab. This enables the viewer to freely navigate themusicologist whilst listening to the full playlist
If using Internet Explorer .. open it in another window, (2 copies running), use one for browsing and the other for listening.
Anyone who has a more effective solution do not hesitate to leave a comment
********MAY 2008 UPDATE***
I have loaded up a new box that now holds the full musicologist playlist, (from #1). the only problem is that it lists them in some f***ed up way, (why the default isn’t by date is an enigma), so to listen to them in ‘order’
click the small triangle at the top right of the boxnet audio player and it ‘drops down’ a menu…the second listing is ‘SORT BY TYPE’ ..
click it and then repeat the above steps and it should have ‘SORT BY DATE’ ..click again and the job is done…(I think that has to be done every time but it’s the best I can do at the moment)
leave a comment if this doesn’t make sense and I’ll try to explain it better.
Stumble It!

if anyone is using Internet Explorer to view themusicologist and is having trouble navigating and listening (uninterupted) my suggestion is to open another Internet Explorer ‘window’ and use that for reading.

fixed a little problem that I only found out about today..all posts are now available to view not just the last ten !!
also noticed that the boxnet widget is not listing the first 46 tunes !! I’m looking into that.

regarding the boxnet widget and it’s limitation of only listing 100 items.
I have loaded up a new box that now has the full capacity. the only problem is that it lists them in some f***ed up way, (why the default isn’t by date is an enigma), so to listen to them in ‘order’
click the small triangle at the top right of the boxnet audio player and it ‘drops down’ a menu…the second listing is ‘SORT BY TYPE’ ..

it looks like the widget sorts alphabetically by default. if you would rename your file “Musicology #001″, #002, …#010, … #099 … then it should sort correctly.
