Available in a choice of print, t-shirt colours and ‘cuts’ the Modernist tee is the first in a line of text based message tees hot off the press

Available in 2 Colour-Ways and 3 ‘Cuts’ the Mod/ernist tee is inspired not only by the group of young, English, Working Class Teenagers who in the early 1960’s “walked, talked, dressed and danced to a different song” (musicology #373 – #390), but also by those around the world who have been and are bold enough to set new trends and blaze new trails. The essence of the Modernist is to be always looking forward and charting new territory.
Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, a pioneer typographer, photographer, and designer of the modern movement and a master at the Bauhaus in Weimar, may have come
closest to defining the Modernist who in his opinion was;
“an idealist and a realist using the language of the poet and the businessman. He thinks in terms of need and function. He is able to analyze his problems, but his
fantasy is boundless.”
Printed by hand Using 100% Solvent Free Water Based Inks on a manual printing press in tribute To Mod/ernists North, South, East & West.

those early days heralded in a sort of unisex look for some of us girls, I bought boys jeans and trousers, cut my hair very short…..my friend cut it actually to get it really short!…..and even boys tees, so I would like to have a sml Modernist T in the blue ‘classic’ please.

Looks like a rip-off from Face37:

Interesting…’rip off’ is a strong comment..
having never heard of Face37 I followed the link..are you referring to
http://www.face37.com/#/work/modernist/
If so…I can’t see the similarity AT ALL, other than in the word? the T is as different as night and day. Did you follow the modernist theme on here. or just navigate to the t shirt?
modernist for me refers to a movement that emerged in London in the early 60’s..(preceeding Mod), the Impact of which I have felt personally..My Tees are not inspired, led or dictated to by design rather by Culture..every single one. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate good design and I like the work on Face37 but rip off? not in any way. rip-off is another word for plaguarize which would at least need the plaguarizer to be aware of the subject..’modernist’ is a mind set not a design idea.
thanks for the comment though…always appreciate a dialogue
